Old does not automatically mean valuable — or worthless
Some long-stored vehicles have meaningful collector value because of model, specification, originality, completeness or history. Others are primarily projects or parts cars. The important thing is to identify the exact vehicle before deciding how to dispose of it.
Do not clean out valuable parts by mistake
Loose trim, original wheels, engines, transmissions, manuals, paperwork and boxes of parts may materially affect value. Keep anything that appears related to the vehicle until it has been evaluated.
You do not have to make it roadworthy first
Flat tires, dead batteries and non-running condition are logistics problems, not automatic deal-breakers. We can discuss access, condition and transport before you spend money trying to make the car move under its own power.
A direct purchase can clear the space in one process
For cars we want to buy, we can coordinate the purchase, paperwork and pickup rather than requiring you to advertise the vehicle, meet multiple strangers or organize transport separately.
Common questions
Frequently asked questions
Do you buy classic cars that are not running?
Yes. We evaluate non-running collector cars, projects and long-stored vehicles as they sit.
Can you remove a car from a garage or driveway?
For purchased vehicles we can coordinate appropriate transportation based on access and whether the vehicle rolls, steers and has usable tires.
How do I know whether to sell it or junk it?
Identify the year, make, model and condition first. A desirable collector vehicle can be worth substantially more than generic scrap or haul-away value.
We buy and evaluate classic cars, projects, barn finds, estate vehicles, vintage trucks, and complete collections throughout California and beyond.
