Do not spend money just to make it run
Reviving a stored vehicle can uncover fuel, cooling, brake, electrical, hydraulic and engine problems. A quick battery-and-gas startup is not the same as proper recommissioning and can introduce stale fuel or create a dry start after years without oil circulation.
In our shop experience, a proper return-to-service can require significant parts and labor before the car is truly safe and dependable. Find out how the car is valued in its current condition before authorizing repairs.
We assess non-running vehicles as they sit and can coordinate pickup.
What to show us
Photograph the exterior, interior, engine, dashboard, identification plates, wheels, visible rust, missing components, and loose parts.
- How long the car has been parked
- Why it was taken off the road
- Whether the engine turns or last ran
- Whether tires roll and steering operates
- Title status and location
Projects and unfinished restorations
Disassembled cars can still be evaluated. Group loose parts where they can be seen and tell us whether major trim, glass, drivetrain, and interior pieces are present.
